Open source AI programming terminal workspace Termexo releases v0.10.4, officially integrating Grok Build from Elon Musk's company into its multi-model orchestration lineup. It also solves an annoying long-standing issue: when the software is running, the number of code changes in the session resets to zero, and the Git panel becomes blank.
The most core change in this new version is the integration of Grok Build. Once users install and log in to the Grok Build CLI, Termexo can automatically recognize it, launch a terminal in the workspace, list and restore previous sessions, and even execute tasks by selecting Grok Build in the task board. Now, Grok Build, Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, and Antigravity are all managed through the same workspace, eliminating the need for developers to switch between multiple terminals.
This time, the usage panel has become smarter. It can now identify when the free quota has been exhausted; and when Grok Build does not return a usage percentage, the interface will honestly display "Unable to determine" instead of incorrectly writing unknown data as "0% usage." This bad habit of representing no information as zero was the most misunderstood aspect of the previous version.
The previous "session change reset" bug stemmed from a misalignment in the reading and refreshing process. After long-running sessions, file lists and diffs would quietly disconnect. Version v0.10.4 has rewritten the refresh logic, allowing the current session's file list and code differences to be continuously viewed without resetting unexpectedly.
The feel of the terminal and workspace has also been refined: the new terminal starts with an animation to avoid directly displaying internal startup commands on the screen; Claude Code now supports Ctrl+V paste; when closing a running Agent terminal, the confirmation prompt and button behavior are more stable; workspace lists can be dragged and sorted, the "more" button only appears when hovered over or focused via keyboard, and duplicate settings buttons in the task board have been removed.
Termexo is only available for 64-bit Windows 10/11 systems, and uses the MIT license. Users can download EXE or MSI install packages from the release page, or run it directly with npx termexo@latest — although the Agent CLI, account, and model services still need to be configured separately. For developers who are used to consolidating multiple coding agents into a single panel on Windows, this version takes the concept of "unified command" one small step further.
